Abu Dhabi: The largest hospital in the United Arab Emirates will open its doors officially on the 3rd of November, 2019.
Abu Dhabi Health Services (Seha) announced the inauguration of Shaikh Shakbout Medical City which covers 300,000 square metres.
The medical Milestone includes 740 beds, 18 surgical operation theatres and outpatient clinics, 36 VIP suites and other state-of-art facilities.
The world-standard hospital has been designed to accommodate up to one million visitors.
The Shaikh Shakbout Medical City will replace the Al Mafraq Hospital and medical staff and inpatients will be transferred gradually to the new medical hub.
The Shaikh Shakbout Medical City, classified as a multi-disciplinary university hospital, will accommodate Emirati and expatriate patients.
