Khartoum: President of Sudan Omar Hassan Al Bashir, met here on Wednesday with His Excellency the Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs Dr. Ghaith bin Mubarak Al Kuwari.
The meeting dealt with bilateral relations and issue of common concern.
In remarks following the meeting, His Excellency the Minister Dr. Al Kuwari praised the Sudanese President's role in developing the relations between the two countries, stressing the importance of Sudanese-Qatari cooperation to serve Muslim nation and describing the two countries' relations as distinguished.
He pointed that his visit to Khartoum came at the invitation of his Sudanese counterpart to attend the final day of the Khartoum International Holy Quran Award.
His Excellency Dr. Al Kuwari underlined his ministry's keenness on promoting the relations with its Sudanese counterpart.
