Dubai: UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum on Thursday (July 18) released a new poem titled "Treasures".
He expressed pride in his son Dubai Crown Prince Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, describing him, along with his brothers, as being the lamps of life.
He said that his sons are the descendants of Al Maktoum and Al Nahyan, their fathers and forefathers, long famed for their bravery in withstanding challenges.
Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid, who celebrated his 70th birthday a few days ago, spoke of his wealth of knowledge, having long experienced life which, he described, as being "bittersweet".
He said that each era needs suitable people to take the lead, adding that he has chosen the best of people in his life, according to Emarat Alyoum.
