Muscat: Thirty-five cruise liners docked at Salalah port in the year 2015 with 29,000 tourists aboard.
The tourists, who hailed from various nationalities, visited prized destinations in the Governorate of Dhufar and toured archaeological sites and heritage vestiges, reported local Arabic daily Oman.
The groups of tourists were introduced to the legendary Frankincense trees and visited traditional souqs (markets), Al-Balid Park, Frankincense Land Museum and other favourite destinations for European and Asian tourists.
