Photos of the royal wedding invitation of Dubai Crown Prince Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and his brothers, have been posted on social media - and it was a rather delicious invite.
The three sons of Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, married last week in a private ceremony.
Shaikh Hamdan, 36, was married to Shaikha Shaikha bint Saeed bin Thani Al Maktoum, while Shaikh Maktoum bin Mohammed, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, 35, married Shaikha Maryam bint Butti Al Maktoum and Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed, chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, 32, married Shaikha Midya bint Dalmouj Al Maktoum.
Pictures of the royal invitation card were posted on Instagram by Mama Noora, the royal family's governess for decades.
The invite included a big gold-coloured utensil filled with a huge portion of a local dessert - apparently Omani Halwa - placed in a big embroidered box. The ceremony details are embroidered in Arabic inside the box in gold.
The invitation mentioned the official marriage contract ceremony, called Al Akhd, of the three brothers.
