Muscat: Two people were injured when their car crashed into a mosque in Muscat on Friday.
Pictures circulated on social media websites showed the car precariously stuck in the façade of Omar ibn Al-Khattab Mosque, reported Al Marsd.
The pictures showed a number of people gathered at the site of the accident, looking at the car which was badly damaged.
Eyewitnesses said that the driver had lost control of the vehicle which swerved and rammed into the front façade of the mosque.
