The soon-to-open Millennium Atria Business Bay in Dubai has appointed Supul Maneesha as its new executive chef.
Maneesha will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the hotel’s dining outlets including in-room dining services.
With over 12 years of vast experience at various hotel outlets, Maneesha joins Millennium Business Atria Business Bay from his prior role as chef de cuisine at Crowne Plaza Hotel Dubai. The Sri Lankan native started his career working for Hilton Colombo and gained incredible experience. Since then he has enhanced his culinary repertoire by working at some of the world’s most prestigious hotels such as Bab Al Shams and JW Marriott in various international locations including Oman, Qatar and the UAE.

Maneesha graduated from Sri Lanka Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management and has also attended trainings for Food Safety Level 03, Professional Cookery and Marriott Leadership Program.
He has also received several awards and accolades such as best apprentice in chef guild culinary competition in live cooking, first place in MLA black box culinary competition held in Sri Lanka, 1Gold excellent and one gold medal in Burjuman Young Chef Competition in Dubai and was also a member of the UAE National Team for Food Culinary Olympics in 2016 held in Germany, UAE National Team for Food Culinary Asia cup in April 2018 held in Singapore, and UAE National Team for Food Culinary World Cup in 2018 held in Luxembourg. - TradeArabia News Service
