Riyadh – Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan will visit Saudi Arabia next week to take part in a major investment forum, dubbed “Davos of the Desert”.
Pakistani media said that Khan will join other leading personalities who will attend the three-day Future Investment Initiative”, will open on October 23, under the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.
This is the second time that Prime Minister Imran Khan visits Saudi Arabia in a month. He will hold talks with senior Saudi officials on bolstering joint economic cooperation.
The Pakistani premier will then head to China on a three-day official visit to China. A high-level Emirati delegation will also visit Pakistan soon to discuss economic cooperation and the establishment of joint ventures.
Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Saudi Crown Prince Chairman of the Council for Economic and Development Affairs and Chairman of the Public Investment Fund (PIF), will preside over the forum, which will serve as a platform to drive expert-led debate, discussion and partnerships.
