Egyptian lightweight star Ahmed Amir will make his much awaited return at Brave Combat Federation on October 27 at Brave 17 in Lahore, Pakistan.
The lightweight fighter, who is making his return after six editions of the show, will face undefeated John Brewin from New Zealand in the same division.
Amir will be the first fighter out of Egypt to compete in Pakistan. The fight night marks the first global mixed martial arts event to be hosted in Pakistan. The event will be broadcasted live on Abu Dhabi Sports in the Middle East and North Africa.
Amir competed in Brave 11 held in Belo Horizonte, Brazil where he was beaten by Cleiton Silva for his first promotional loss that also ended his seven-fight win streak.
However, Amir was praised for accepting the fight despite his opponent missing weight.
He also fought Silva gallantly despite being bloodied before the bout was stopped due to doctor stoppage.
Amir is currently undergoing training at KHK MMA Bahrain under head coach and fellow lightweight fighter Eldar Eldarov.
Brewin made his promotional debut at Brave 12 hosted in Jakarta, Indonesia where he easily beat Hardeep Rai, an IMMAF medalist, in the second round.
Currently, Brewin is undefeated in his career with three wins.
