Sharjah – An Ethiopian expatriate woman fell to her death from the 19th floor of high-rise residential build in the Emirate of Sharjah.
Construction workers found the body of the 22-year-old housemaid lying in a pool of blood near Al-Qasba area.
The Sharjah Police launched an inquiry into the death of the woman who passed away instantly due to her critical injuries.
The housemaid was working for a 60-year-old woman and her 30-year-old son. They claimed that the domestic helper had fallen from the window while she was cleaning the kitchen.
The police are questioning the son as part of the investigation. The body was taken to the forensic authorities for a post-mortem.
