The Brave 14 which will be held in the Omnisports indoor club of Tangier, Morocco on August 18 will become the first Bahraini overseas event held under the patronage of His Majesty the King, Mohammed VI, King of Morocco.
Brave Combat Federation is the fastest growing global mixed martial arts organisation founded under the leadership of Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The initiative by the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Morocco will bring the first-ever global mixed martial arts event to the continent of Africa.
The event will also have the largest broadcast coverage in the history of the sport to date.
Abu Dhabi Sports will broadcast the event live across MENA region, StarSat and VodaCom will cover the rest of African continent, Combate will focus on the South American markets, FloCombat, and Fite TV will focus on the remaining global territories.
According to Brave Combat Federation, further expansion is expected during the days leading to the event.
Brave 14 will be held as the first step for more events that will be hosted by Brave Combat Federation in Africa.
Brave Combat Federation president Mohammed Shahid has recently hinted the possibility of South Africa among future destinations for the global promotion.
Bahrain will host the Brave International Combat Week 2018 in November which will feature a premium edition of Brave Combat Federation alongside the 2018 IMMAF World Championships of Amateur MMA.
