A Kuwaiti female TV presenter has been suspended from presenting a Ramadan contest TV programme, Almarsd reported.
The Ministry of Information issued a decision suspending Amal Al Awadhi from presenting the programme without any clarification.
Social media users posted a photo of Al Awadhi wearing a white dress amid speculations that it might have been the cause of her suspension.
She posted a video on her Instagram account claiming that "some parties demanded to prevent her from the live programme".
She reiterated commitment to the dress code imposed by the Kuwaiti TV on employees.
