The Kuwaiti authorities have deported up to 8,000 expatriates since January – an average of 59 illegal migrants daily, according to Al Qabas.
Most of the expatriates are flown back home for violating the laws on residence and labour, which turns them into illegal migrants.
Other expatriates are ordered to leave the country by court rulings, when flouting traffic regulations or committing certain types of crimes.
Other expatriates involved in financial issues are held in custody for upto two months before their deportation.
