Muscat – An Omani citizen is under investigation on suspicion of the rape of an expatriate woman.
The Royal Oman Police (ROP) caught the suspect in the region of Seeb and referred him to the judicial authorities.
The mother of the rape victim lodged a complaint with the police, who launched an immediate inquiry.
In a separate case, another Omani national was arrested for impersonating the police and committing a spate of robberies in the region of Al-Koudh.
