A Lebanese woman gave birth to sextuplets, three boys and three girls. This is a very rare phenomenon.
The Saint George Hospital University Medical Center said that the premature babies, who are in stable condition, will be kept inside incubators at the neonatal intensive care unit for a few weeks to monitor them medically.
“The Lebanese couple did not plan the fifth pregnancy as they have already four sons, said the hospital in a statement.
The mother, who gave birth to three of her four sons by caesarian section, delivered her sextuplet naturally and without any complications.
According to a report on Skynews, the mother did not undergo any fertility treatment before becoming pregnant.
