Mumbai: Veteran Bollywood and television actress Shammi, died in Mumbai aged 89.
She was popular for her comic roles and had appeared in over 200 films as well as for role in nineties sitcom 'Dekh Bhai Dekh'.
Designer Sandeep took to social media early Tuesday morning to make the announcement by sharing a picture of the star along with the caption, “we will miss you #you #will #always #remain #special #to #us #RIP #ShammiAunty #1929-2018 #loveyou #abujanisandeepkhosla #bestfriend #guide #family.”

Priya Dutt, daughter of late Nargis and Sunil Dutt, tweeted this photo of Nargis Dutt (left) and Shammi (right).
