Riyadh: Eastern province Deputy Governor Prince Ahmed bin Fahd bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud inspected the King Fahd Causeway linking Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
He issued directives to provide the best of services to passengers crossing the strategic causeway and ensure the smooth flow of the traffic.
“The Saudi Government, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince spared no effort to support and develop this vital economic artery binding out two dear kingdoms, to ease transport, import and export”, he said.
Prince Ahmed bin Fahd watched a documentary film on the King Fahd Causeway since it was first inaugurated, before touring different facilities. He also met passengers and heard their remarks and proposals.
Prince Ahmed also inspected the new expansion which including the passport departure and arrival cabins and the other cabins allocated to check women passengers.
