Sultan Qaboos bin Said presided over a meeting of the Council of Ministers at Bait Al Barakah and highlighted the country’s development strides, according to ONA.
The Omani leader reviewed various local, regional and international issues, hailing the government’s efforts to spur growth, revitalise development and consolidate basic services rendered to citizens, in addition to channeling investments to economic projects.
Sultan Qaboos paid tribute to Omani citizens for their co-operation and dedicated efforts to contribute to the implementation of the development plans and programmes.
He commended efforts undertaken in the field of national manpower employment and generation of suitable jobs for citizens, stressing the importance of enhancing the employability of Omani nationals to take up jobs that provides them decent living condition.
