A Saudi soldier was killed Friday evening in a landmine explosion as he was performing his duties in Najran province on the southern border with Yemen.
Online newspaper Sabq named the fallen serviceman as First Soldier Hassan bin Ali Akafi Al Raithi.
He is survived by four children who live in Al Sharqi village in the governorate of Al Raith.
He will be buried in his native village, located in the province of Jazan.
