Two Saudi pilots who plane crashed due to a technical failure were rescued successfully.
The Saudi Royal Air Force jet fell after conducting an operational task due to a technical malfunction, said Joint Coalition Forces Spokesman Colonel Turki Al-Malki.
The two pilots were conducting operations as part of the Saudi-led Arab Alliance in support of legitimate rule in Yemen.
“The two pilots were evacuated to the Saudi territories following a search and rescue efforts in the operation area”, said Col. Al-Malki in a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA). No casualties were reported.
The air and land forces took part in the rescue operation without reporting a casualty among the plane crew.
The rescued Saudi pilots have been identified as Al-Haqbani and Abdulla Al-Zeer and posted their photos at the hospital.
