An American citizen was killed in a road accident in the Kuwaiti governorate of Aljahra’a, Al Qabas newspaper reported.
The man was driving his car on Al Metla’a avenue when he collided with another vehicle resulting in his death.
A mother, two children and a maidservant in the other car involved in the accident sustained multiple injuries.
Kuwait Civil Defence servicemen had to use hydraulic equipment to cut parts of the badly damaged car and pull them out of the wreckage.
The injured were airlifted to hospital and the body of the US citizen was handed over to the Ministry of Interior.
