The body of the Asir Province Deputy Governor Prince Mansour bin Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud will be laid to rest in Riyadh.
The funeral prayers will be performed today after Asr prayers at Imam Turki bin Abdulla Mosque in the Saudi capital, according to Al Mowaten newspaper.
His body was flown aboard a helicopter yesterday, accompanied by Asir Province Governor Prince Faisal bin Khalid and the deceased’s brothers.
His father Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud was present when the helicopter landed at Riyadh airport.
King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud had also visited Prince Muqrin and offered him condolences.
Prince Mansour, 43, was among eight people killed when his helicopter crashed in Asir, in southwest Saudi Arabia.
