Expatriates living in Kuwait will start paying the new healthcare fees from October 1, according to Alqabas newspaper.
A circular was sent to all state-run public hospitals and primary health care centres instructing them to start implementing the new fee scheme.

Under the scheme, expatriates will have to pay KD2 at health centres, KD5 at the accident wards at hospitals and KD10 at outpatient clinics at public hospitals, said the ministry of health.
