Al Hilal will take on arch-rivals Al Ittihad on January 16 in the Supercup match, which will be held in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates, according to Al Riyadh newspaper.
Al Hilal won the Jameel Football League last year while Al Ittihad won the Saudi Crown Prince’s Cup.
The Supercup was first held twice in Saudi Arabia and then played in London in 2015 and 2016. It was then decided to transfer the match to Abu Dhabi.
Al Fateh was the first club to clinch the Saudi Supercup after beating Al Ittihad 3-2 in Mecca in 2013.
Al Shabab then won the second edition after beating Al Nasr in a penalty shootout 4-3.
Al Hilal and Al Ahli won the third and fourth editions, respectively, which were held in London.
