Ajman: A number of warehouses located in Ajman's industrial area caught fire last night, said an official at Ajman Civil Defence.
All six warehouses were completely gutted in the blaze.
Ajman firefighters managed to control the fire and prevent it from spreading to the surrounding warehouses. Police blocked all roads leading to the warehouses, thereby allowing firefighters and ambulance personnel to reach the area quickly.
A rescue team evacuated nearby buildings to ensure workers’ safety.
An investigation is being conducted to determine the cause of the blaze.
