Dubai: Fire broke out on a ship loaded with a consignment of diesel this morning in Sharjah.
Two workers were killed and four others were injured in the incident, reported Emarat Al Youm.
Thick columns of black smoke were still seen billowing from the ship which docked at Al Hamriya seaport.
Reportedly, the blaze started at 5.29 AM, adding that firefighting units and paramedics were dispatched to the scene.
