Riyadh: Jeddah-based Ittihad Club clinched the Saudi Crown Prince’s Football Cup, beating arch-rivals Al Nasr 1-0 in the final held at the King Fahd Stadium in Riyadh.
Deputy King, Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Interior Minister Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz attended the event and presented the trophy to the winners.
He also awarded silver medals to Al Nasr president Prince Faisal bin Turki as well as the players and presented the cash prize to the runners-up.
President of Ittihad Club Hatim Ba'ishin and the captain of the winning team received gold medals from the Vice-Custodian, who also congratulated them on their success.
