Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) has announced a state of emergency following an oil leak in the southwest of Kuwait, the company’s spokesman announced.
KOC Acting Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Administrative and Financial Affairs Menahi Al-Enezi said that emergency teams were dealing with the situation in accordance with the protocol.
In a statement posted on Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), he said that no reading of toxic gases had been detected.
