A Saudi trafficker was sentenced to ten years in prison and 1200 lashes for smuggling more than 59kg of cannabis.
The Criminal Court in Mecca fined the smuggler SR100,000 and banned him from travelling abroad for ten years on serving his jail term.
A police patrol arrested him and discovered the drug which was hidden inside the spare wheel of his vehicle.
He was accompanied by his son, aged less than ten years, in an attempt to outsmart the police.
