Qatar: The Amir of Qatar Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani presented Saudi's King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud with the Sword of the Founder Shaikh Jassim bin Mohammed bin Thani.
The Sword of the Founder is the highest national decoration, which is carried by the Amir of the State and to be presented to kings, princes and presidents in accordance with the Law No. 17 of 2016 on civil orders issued by the Amir Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani.
It is the first time that this Sword is presented and it is an expression of the Amir's appreciation to the Saudi King’s high status and in order to cement bonds of relations between b two brotherly peoples.
