CRICKET fans witnessed some thrilling matches on the eighth day of the ninth Inter-Hotel Charity Cricket Tournament at The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain.
Each team gave their best, but in the end, it was InterContinental Bahrain, JAW Resort & Spa, The Ritz-Carlton Bahrain, Downtown Rotana, and Majestic Arjaan by Rotana who emerged victorious in their respective matches.
In the first match, InterContinental Bahrain secured a convincing six-wicket victory over The Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel Residence & Spa.
Abhijith Shetty was the star performer for InterContinental Bahrain and was rightly awarded the Man of the Match for his outstanding performance.
In the second match, JAW Resort & Spa managed to edge past The Gulf Hotel Bahrain Convention and Spa by a narrow margin of two runs.
Nakash Ahmed was the hero for JAW Resort and was named the Man of the Match for his match-winning contribution.
The third match saw The Ritz-Carlton Bahrain dominate Vida Beach Resort Marassi Al Bahrain and secure a comfortable 56-run victory.
Roshan Indika was the stand-out player for The Ritz-Carlton Bahrain and was deservedly awarded the Man of the Match accolade.
Downtown Rotana, Manama put up a stellar performance in the fourth match as they defeated Diplomat Radisson Blu by 54 runs.
Downtown’s Umar Aziz put in a brilliant display and was named the Man of the Match for his match-winning performance.
In the final match of the day, Majestic Arjaan by Rotana emerged victorious against Raffles Al Areen Palace Bahrain by two wickets.
Neveed Iqbal played a crucial role in Majestic Arjaan by Rotana’s victory and was honoured with the Man of the Match award.
