Basic school education could be made mandatory for all Bahraini children from the age of five and until they turn 17, or complete grade 12, if MPs have their way.
Parliament is set to debate and vote on amendments to the 2005 Education Law presented by five MPs led by Hanan Fardan during the weekly session on Tuesday .
