The Arab Parliamentary Group within the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) has nominated Hala Fayez, Shura Council member, Bureau of Women Parliamentarians member, as the rapporteur of the Arab Group in the IPU Committee on Sustainable Development.The committee is set to discuss the topic “Parliamentary Strategies: Long-term Effects of Armed Conflicts” during its meeting at the 150th Assembly of the IPU from April 5 to 9 in Kazakhstan .
