FOOTBALL – Bahrain will take on Nepal tonight in Group H of the Preliminary Joint Qualification – Round 2 for the Fifa World Cup 2026 and AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027 tonight at the Bahrain National Stadium in Riffa.
Bahrain will enter the match with a focused mindset, fully aware of Nepal’s potential to cause an upset and head coach Dragan Talajic wants his players to be fully committed.
“The second match against Nepal will be difficult and we must be good to get the win. The players have the character to do it,” said Talajic.
Nepal, however, will be determined to bounce back from their 5-0 defeat in the reverse fixture on Thursday. Meanwhile, the UAE will be aiming to stay perfect and seal progression when they take on Yemen in the other Group H clash.
UAE lead the standings by three points, having secured three consecutive victories.
