His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has commended the wide-ranging accomplishments attained by Team Bahrain in the kingdom’s equestrian sector.
He also highlighted the unwavering support provided by His Majesty King Hamad to the kingdom’s equestrian sector, which has furthered its development over the years.
This came as HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister – on behalf of His Majesty – attended the King’s Cup, organised by the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club at its racecourse in Al Raffa, Sakhir.
Isle Of Jura, racing in the colours of Victorious Racing, won the King’s Cup.
HRH Prince Salman noted that horseracing is part of the kingdom’s heritage and emphasised national efforts that are committed to preserving it as a crucial part of Bahrain’s historic identity.
He conveyed the greetings and congratulations of the King to the race winners, including the sponsors, owners and jockeys.
HRH Prince Salman highlighted the strong competition witnessed in the race, which reflects the exceptional levels reached by the kingdom’s equestrian sector.
