GLOBAL experts in the field of urology will share their knowledge and expertise in Bahrain and discuss the latest techniques and options available to men to achieve better overall physical and emotional health, as well as improve intimacy for couples.
Royal Bahrain Hospital (RBH) will host its inaugural Penile Prosthesis Workshop tomorrow at the Intercontinental Hotel in Manama.
Renowned urologists from Bahrain, US, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt will lead comprehensive sessions on patient selection, surgical techniques and post-operative care.
“We are honoured to bring together esteemed experts in the field of urology to share their knowledge and expertise,” said Royal Bahrain Hospital assistant professor and urology consultant Dr Erfai Emtiar.
“This workshop not only serves as a platform for learning but also fosters collaboration and networking among healthcare professionals, ultimately benefiting patients in Bahrain and beyond.”
The workshop will focus on interactive discussions and training using state-of-the-art simulation models. Professor Dr Steven K Wilson, a globally renowned surgeon, will lead the presentations, bringing extensive experience with more than 11,000 implants in 54 countries.
The workshop seeks to advance expertise in the management of erectile dysfunction through penile prosthesis surgery, offering a solution for individuals unresponsive to conventional treatments.
