His Majesty King Hamad issued Royal Decree (9) of 2024, restructuring the Information Ministry, based on a proposal by the Information Minister and following the approval of the Cabinet.According to the royal decree, the Information Ministry shall be restructured as follows: The Information Minister shall be responsible for: 1) Strategic Planning and Projects Directorate; 2) Director-General of Bahrain News Agency (with the rank of Assistant Undersecretary) .
