Saudi Arabia's Foreign Affairs Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah received today at the ministry’s headquarters in Riyadh the Foreign Affairs Minister of Georgia, Ilia Darchiashvili.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to strengthen and expand friendships and co-operation across different areas. They also discussed regional and international issues of mutual interest. Prince Faisal and the Georgian
Foreign Minister signed a memorandum of understanding to establish the Saudi-Georgian Coordination Council, aiming to expand collaboration between the two countries to achieve the aspirations of the two leaderships and peoples of the two countries.
The meeting was attended by the ministry’s Undersecretary for Political Affairs Ambassador, Dr. Saud Al-Sati, the Saudi Ambassador to Georgia, Salman Al Al-Shaikh, and the Director General of the General Administration of the Secretariats of the Councils and Committees.
