A delegation from the World Health Organisation (WHO) office in Oman visited Wadd Health Village in the Wilayat of Sur, in the governorate of South Al Sharqiyah, to review the initiatives and projects implemented in the health village.
The programme included a presentation on health indicators and community initiatives on the project, a tour of its facilities and the walkway project that was undertaken by Al Jisr Foundation.
The delegation consisted of Dr Jean Yaacoub Jabbour, WHO Representative for Oman, Saud Amer Al Nadhairi, Director General of Health Services in the Governorate of South Al Sharqiyah, and Shaikh Dr Hilal Ali Al Habsi, Wali of Sur.
