Muscat: A man who went missing in Salalah waters was found dead on Saturday.
The Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) had announced news of the man's disappearance on its Twitter account.
A search operation was promptly launched for the man, but then halted due to low visibility.
According to PACDA statistics, 113 cases of drowning occurred in 2015, down from 150 in 2014 and 292 in 2013.
