Doha: A hypermarket in Barwa City reportedly sold worm-infested eggplants.
A woman spotted big worms inside the eggplants she had bought from the hypermarket.
She noticed the worms as she was cutting vegetables, reported local Arabic daily Al-Sharq.
She called upon the food control authorities to launch an inquiry into the incident.
