An Omani child was killed instantly in a traffic accident in Kalba'a in the emirate of Sharjah.
The infant was among 25 other passengers on a bus which overturned in the region of Wadi Al-Helou.
The Omani nationals were returning home through the United Arab Emirates following a trip to the City of Mashhad in Iran. Twenty three other passengers sustained multiple wounds and severe burns as fire gutted the bus.
The bus driver, who is the father of the dead child, was driving them from Sharjah airport to Saham governorate in Oman. His wife has also suffered severe burns
